From interview to conversation: three rewrites

Look at what the conversation has become, then pick the turns that make it go both ways. A good turn builds on her last answer, adds a little of you, and leaves her room to answer. Several answers can be right. Where a scene has a single question, pick the one reply that answers her and builds on what she said.
