A difficult conversation: five moments

Each moment is a conversation about a problem. Pick every opening or reply that says what happened, says what you would like, and leaves room for the other person's view. Then rank your accepted picks by how much they sound like you; the ranking is not scored. Where you are asked for a read, "Insufficient information" is a real answer, and sometimes the best one.
