Exercises

Asking is part of the skill: three wordings, two answers, one scene

Items 1 to 3 give you a goal and several ways to say it. Pick the version you would say. A good version says what you would like once, in plain and warm words, and leaves her a real way out. In items 4 and 5 she has answered. Pick what you would say next. A good reply thanks her in a few words and leaves the next step to her. Asking before you act, for one step, is never wrong. A "not yet" or a "no" is an answer, and asking again after it is pressure.
