Silence is not a yes: six small steps

Each item gives you a moment and asks three things. First, what did she actually do? Second, what does that support? "Insufficient information" is a real answer. Third, what is the smallest reasonable next step? Several steps can be good. Pausing, checking in with words and leaving warmly are always good. Silence, stillness and going along are never a yes, and no cue is permission to touch.
