Share first, then ask: six items
Each item shows a conversation, then asks four things in order: whether a deeper question fits yet, which facts bear on that, what you might share yourself, and what you would say if the other person passes. Staying at this depth, going lighter and answering briefly are always sound. A reply that passes over something the other person just offered is graded for what it misses. A share should match the depth you are about to ask for, not outrun it.
